The following documents are available for parents to view. Please make a request to the headteacher.

• The LEA curriculum policy statement
• The school’s statement of aims
• Statutory instruments, circulars and memoranda sent to the school by the department of education and the Welsh office.
• Any report by OHMCI which refer to the school.
• A copy of the LEAs’ arrangements for complaints.
• The schemes of work and the syllabuses used in the school showing how the national curriculum will be provided.
• The LEAs agreed syllabus for R.E.
• The governing body’s most recent annual report to parents.

Where a copy of any of these documents is requested a charge will be made. The charge will reflect the cost of the materials and equipment used and the amount of time taken to copy them.

Excursions and visits are planned in connection with curriculum topics. These give opportunities for children to broaden and deepen their understanding of the work they undertake in the classroom. Visits are carefully planned and supervised. Parents are asked to contribute towards the cost. Without parental contributions it would be impossible to undertake these trips.
